BNG Survey Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

 

1. Eligibility 

a. The prize draw is open to individuals who complete the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) survey conducted by AiDASH UK LTD in partnership with CIEEM and University of Edinburgh. 

b. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. 

c. Participants are not required to fully complete the questionnaire to be eligible for the prize draw. Providing contact details is the only requirement for entry. 

2. Entry Period 

The prize draw entry period begins on 20 October 2024 and ends on 06 December 2024. Only entries received during this period will be eligible for the prize draw. 

The closing date will not be extended unless unforeseen factors apply and existing participants are not disadvantaged. 

 

 3. How to Enter 

a. To enter, participants must provide contact details in the BNG survey and submit their responses within the entry period. Only one entry per person is allowed. 

b. Participants who fail to complete the questionnaire will not be disqualified from the prize draw. However, they must submit the survey in order to transmit their details for entry into the prize draw. 

c. Participants who win the prize draw have the right to remain anonymous. Their details will only be used for the purpose of administering this prize draw. 

 

4. Prize 

a. One (1) winner will be selected at random to receive a £150 prize. 

b. The prize will be administered through Amazon.com in a form of a gift voucher. 

c. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other alternatives. 

d. Prizes will not be withheld unless participants have clearly not met the stated criteria. 

e. A poor response or inferior entries will not prevent the draw or lead to the withholding of prizes. 

 

5. Winner Selection and Notification 

a. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries within 7 days of the survey closing. 

b. Winners will be selected randomly, either by a verifiably random computer process, by an independent person, or under independent supervision, with a clear audit trail. 

c. The winner will be notified via the contact information provided in the survey. 

d. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, AiDASH UK LTD reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 

 

6. Data Protection 

We are committed to respecting and protecting your personal data in accordance with data protection legislation. Data that has not been fully anonymised will never be shared with other organisations. A fully anonymised data set (free from any information that could identify you) will be shared with the researchers we work with. The fully anonymised data will be kept indefinitely and may be used as the basis for academic and non-academic publications. 

Personal information provided in the survey will be used for the purpose of administering the prize draw and as outlined in AiDASH’s Privacy Policy. By participating, entrants agree to the collection and processing of their data in accordance with these terms. 

 

7. General Conditions 

a. AiDASH UK LTD reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the prize draw if any unforeseen circumstances occur that may compromise the fairness or integrity of the prize draw. 

b. By participating in the prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of AiDASH UK LTD, which are final and binding. 

c. AiDASH UK LTD reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Terms and Conditions.
