Jon leads AtkinsRéalis’ (formerly Atkins) Natural Capital and Environmental Economics team. He helps them use this evidence to inform investment, design and planning decisions.
Jon describes his approach to managing natural capital assets as ‘silo-busting’ and ‘systems-based’, drawing together multidisciplinary teams and collaborative partnerships to pioneer new tools and technologies. He has a decade of experience working with developers, local authorities, water companies, regulators, and investors. This experience includes delivering natural capital training for the UK water industry and assessing clients’ readiness for managing nature risks and opportunities in line with the new Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework.
